Mural of Positano Italy

For this project, a client had recently returned home from a dream European vacation.  One of their favorite stops was in Positano on the Italian coast.  I worked to gather some reference and included some of her ideas (like their cruise ship) into the composition.

Normally I paint on canvas and install murals on site.  For this mural I painted on a board as it was going to be mounted on a wall and framed with wood trim.

This was also the first mural that I painted which included a lot of architecture.  It was a challenge at first, but by the end I was familiar with painting windows and roofs!
